Photo of Carson Hatcher - Meet the artist

Carson is a South Carolina girl, through and through. She attended Clemson University where she studied Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.

Today, Carson works in a Skilled Nursing Facility as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. She creates artwork in her free time to express herself and as an extra stream of income.

Outside of art and work, she loves to spend her time coaching Little League softball, hunting, and supporting the Clemson Tigers.

Carson's passion is for abstract painting, where she expresses her energy and feelings. She does this by using bright colors and defined brushstrokes in her art. She is a true believer that the artwork in your life should express your personality. She creates her artwork in her garage, surrounded by paint brushes everywhere (somedays a car), a photo of her dad on the table, a glass of prosecco in hand, and a podcast playing. Someday, she hopes to have a studio room with a brightly colored rug, big windows with a view, sparkly lights, and a funky chair.
