Amanda considers herself an accidental artist, stumbling upon painting as a creative outlet in the midst of her busy schedule as a mom of two. She has always been crafty and into DIY projects, but it wasn’t until the pandemic that she picked up a paint brush. A quarantine hobby quickly turned into a passion and within a year Amanda began selling her artwork around the country.
Amanda is a transplant to the Raleigh area from Northern Virginia. Four years ago, Amanda moved to Apex, NC - right outside of Raleigh. She lives there with her husband, Noah, two sons, Mason & Jordan, and their Labradoodle,Tucker. Her love for children extends beyond her family. She was an elementary school teacher for seven years and was awarded teacher of the year. She now owns a tutoring business, in addition to being a mom and artist.
Amanda creates soft-colored abstract art that is timeless and classic, yet fresh and current. She likes to say, her paintings aren’t complete unless she adds a touch of pink! When she is not in the studio you can find her out and about shopping at local boutiques, grabbing coffee or margaritas with her girlfriends, obsessing over Laura Park Designs’ newest drop, or curled up dipping through the pages of an interior design coffee table book.
Amanda’s love for and experience in the world of interior design has inspired much of her work. She has always had a passion for interior design. In college she interned with HGTV and was on one of their shows!. She considers her style to be “grandmillenial” and favors anything considered “Hamptons”, think blue and white, ginger jars, faux bamboo, gold decor, mixing pretty fabrics, bold wallpaper, chippendale. She loves incorporating timeless decor with a fresh modern spin. Her style can be seen in her home including her studio, which she designed to look more like an office than a messy studio.
Amanda is constantly creating new products and making art accessible to all kinds of collectors. She loves knowing her artwork will help her collectors complete their interior design goals! Her artwork is available as Frame TV art, affordable prints, coasters, ceramic shells, and original pieces. Her artwork is available for purchase through her website and a new collection is dropping February 28th, 2023! Amanda loves knowing her artwork will help her collectors complete their interior design goals!
