Meghan has creativity in her DNA. She grew up in Raleigh, NC watching her artist mom create in her in-home studio. In college, at UNC-Chapel Hill, Meghan found her own passion for art. She packed her schedule with art classes and graduated with a degree in Mass Communications and Journalism.
She went on to have a career in PR, writing and digital marketing before taking time off with her children. Meghan started painting colorful abstracts to decorate her home and now her work can be found in private collections around the world.
Today, Meghan lives in her alma mater town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with her husband, two children, and dog. When she isn't busy creating the next collection she can be found with her family at the tennis club (the same one she met her husband in college), shopping for the next Assouline travel book to add to her collection, or having a living room dance party to the Bridgeton soundtrack.
Meghan's artwork is full of bright color combinations and pops of different metallics, especially gold. She mixes hard and soft edges to create a natural flow of colorful shapes that fit together like a puzzle, drawing the viewer's eye across the canvas.
Meghan’s home is often the backdrop of her photos. She loves keeping her spaces neutral to showcase her colorful, gold-framed art on every wall. In contrast, her studio is a giant mess of paint brushes, canvases, open Liquitex heavy body paint tubes, and empty Lacroix cans in every flavor - she’s got a fridge dedicated to just Lacroix (and canned wine).
Each month, she releases a new collection all with unique colorways and themed names. Previous collections have been named for Bridgerton, Clueless and Hamilton! Our cover artwork, names Penny Lane, was a part of The Beatles inspired collection. Her artwork is available for purchase through her website and at Gallery 5 in Raleigh, NC.
