Create a Dreamy Nightstand

This can be the dumping ground for so much! A cluttered nightstand can create unnecessary stress and hinder your ability to relax and unwind in your bedroom and a messy bathroom sink can make daily routines challenging. It's time to purge, clean out, organize and label these important spaces. And I love organizing spaces that others don't inhabit. When you work on your own closet, nightstand or under your sink, no one will jump in and mess it up. This makes organization more satisfying when you know it will stay that way.

We need to measure, find all the perfect containers and then create a little magic for our small spaces. Drawer organizers, can transform your nightstand or under your sink into a functional and organized space that promotes a peaceful atmosphere. In this blog post, we will explore the benefits of using drawer organizers and provide practical tips to help you declutter and organize your nightstand area effectively.

1. Define Your Needs: Before diving into organizing your nightstand, take some time to assess your needs. Consider the items you typically keep on your nightstand and determine what you use most frequently. 2. Pick Your Product: Carefully measure your space and record the measurements in The Plan Organizational Worksheet at the front of your planner. Drawer organizers come in various shapes, sizes, and materials. They can be found at home goods stores, online retailers, or you can even make your own using materials like dividers, small boxes, or trays.
3. Reorganize & Purge: Before placing anything in your nightstand drawers, sort through the items you currently have there. Discard any unnecessary items or relocate them to a more suitable location. Keep only the essentials that you regularly use at your bedside.
4. Create Zones: To maintain an organized nightstand, assign specific zones within your drawer organizers. Designate areas for different categories of items, such as reading materials, electronics, personal care products, and accessories. This way, you'll always know where to find what you need, and it will be easier to keep everything tidy. I used each drawer as a specific zone!
5. Label It: Use labels to identify the contents of each section or container within your drawer organizers. This labeling system will save you time and make sure you return items to the correct space then you wont be left in the dark searching for a misplaced item.. This is key for making this project last overtime!
6. Regular Refresh: Just because we focused on this area in June doesn't mean you can neglect it until next June!  Periodically review the contents of your drawers and make adjustments as necessary. Remove any items that no longer serve a purpose or that you haven't used in a while. Regularly tidying up and refreshing your nightstand will help maintain a clutter-free environment.
